To put it simply, these are all the links I have regarding TV-Card support under Linux. Video for Linux (v4l) is the original video capture/overlay API of the Linux kernel. v4l has been supersceded by Video for Linux two (v4l2). Owners of ATI cards with TV tuners (Mach64, Rage128 and Radeon) may find suitable drivers (kernel modules) at the GATOS site.
